For exploring this big Northern part of Greece, we have established a base tailor made for your needs. From our base in the touristy Skiathos, the so called “small Mykonos”, you can start your holiday enjoying the unspoiled bays and small ports of the Gulf of Volos, sailing to the beautiful green islands of Sporades, such as Skopelos, Alonissos, Skantzoura and Pelagos.
Sheltered and unspoiled anchorages, sandy white beaches, will offer you the pleasures of an unforgettable holiday. Within a distance of 50 miles you can sail up to the Chalkidiki peninsula. The Chalkidiki peninsula reaches down into the Northern Aegean, with three smaller peninsulas Kassandra, Sithonia, and Mount Athos.

On the green Sithonia you will delight in the peace and tranquility of small ports and beautiful anchorages. At Porto Carras, you will reach an extra modern marina, that offers you superb shore side relaxation. You can delight the spectacular views of the medieval monasteries of Mount Athos, that have been separated from the modern world.

These holy communities have no roads, electricity or telephones, females are still not allowed to enter the monasteries or even the area. Relax through sailing, fishing and swimming in the blue Aegean sea waters.

Alonissos with its unique flora and fauna comprises the first Greek National Marine Park, also  the biggest one in Europe. Sporades islands are gifted with a soft wind, as they are protected from northern wind (meltemi) that overwhelms the Aegean Sea during summer months. Thus, Sporades offer a relaxed sailing trip, suitable for families and groups that want to enjoy relaxed holidays on a sailing yacht.

Weather Conditions in Sporades. Throughout the summer the winds are milder than in the central Aegean – Sporades is west of the main meltemi. In the months with the strongest winds (July – August) the intensity in the area of ​​Sporades does not exceed 4-5 Beaufort, providing ideal sailing and relaxation conditions. The southern winds, which appear rather in the winter months, come with greater intensity and cause more problems. In addition, the islands are a short distance from each other so it is not difficult to find protection in one of the many islands if the weather ‘catches’ us.

Green, ideal for nature lovers, Skopelos, with low profile development, very nice beaches, picturesque Chora and paths in the pine trees. Alonissos is your favorite for its beautiful beaches, its atmospheric Country, which has developed relatively recently, but still retains its character, and its proximity to the Monk-Monachal Sea Monkey Park. Sporades is a complex of islands situated in the north Aegean Sea, close to mainland Greece. It is comprised mainly of three islands, Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos and many other isles and rocks, with common characteristics the crystal, deep blue waters and the rich flora; the pine trees reach down  to the sea level, giving a turquoise color to the sea. The shape of the islands (and small scattered isles around them) creates a big number of small gulfs, where the yacht anchors and guests can relax and enjoy swimming.
